How to I ask/convince my mom to let me wear makeup?
I'm turning 12 in 14 days. I want makeup but I don't know if my mom will let me wear it. All i want to wear is: a light layer of black mascara, neutral/natural/light shades of eyeshadow, tinted moisturizer, a little blush, and lip gloss! I don't think its bad.... what do you think? also.....please tell me how or what I would say to her!! thanks!!!:)

-Tell her that your friends are using it to, ( if they are, otherwise, why would you?)
-Let her give the reasons why you should not wear it, and give some arguments why you want to
-Tell her it is your own money (if you want to)
-Tell her it makes you feel more confident

12? Why do you need makeup? I'm a 16 year old guy, and in my opinion girls look way more attractive without any makeup on. The natural look is always the best. All the models on magazines and stuff look way overdone, it's not pretty at all.

I think thats personally ALOT. When i just turned 12 i had no interest in makeup whatsoever! Try just a bit of mascara and and natural blush. I think thats good.
Tell your mom you will keep it natural, tell her you want to do it to enhance your natural beauty and you would never overdo it. don't suggest all the amekup to your mom that you just posted, or she might freak out. stick to 2 products, like blush and mascara, or tinted chapstick and mascara. NO tinted moisturizer, NOeyeshadow, and by no means ANY EYELINER! Your are still 11. take it slow

Try to bring it up casually! Don't seem too freaked out or nervous just be like... so mom can I ask you for something for my birthday? You could then ask for the makeup items you listed above. If she does the whole you don't need makeup to be beautiful talk, just bring up you want makeup to enhance your beatiful features. Hopefully your mom will understand and you could even ask her to help you learn to use the new makeup products so she's in on it too! Good luck :)

You could just tell her if she lets you wear it you won't wear too much makeup. Instead of black mascara maybe you could ask if you could wear brown/black since it's not as dark, and just say you'll only use natural colors of eyeshadow so it won't look overdone. Plus, tinted moisturizer is actually good for your skin since it's moisturizing, so you could tell her that, and lip gloss isn't too bad as long as you're not wearing dark colors. I wouldn't wear too much blush though, because all those things put together at once could look like you're wearing too much makeup. Hope that helped. Good Luck! :)

I don't think it is too much, to convince your mom tell her you will use it responsibly and you won't cake it on. Tell her you will only use it to enhance your features and that it will give you more confidence!
hope i helped u!

You don't need tinted moisturizer, blush and eye shadow.
That's a lot for your age. You can ask her but telling her that "everybody's doing it" isn't gonna win your mom's permission. It's gonna make her say no and she's gonna be irritated for sure so stay away from that.
Just talk to her and ask her if you can wear makeup. Don't sugar cost it. Don't go behind her back because that's gonna stir problems with your parents.
